The Friends of Inks Dam Hatchery (FOIDH)
Discover for yourself what many volunteers have learned: Volunteering for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is fun and rewarding in many ways. Master new skills. Meet new friends. Enjoy a sense of accomplishment from doing your part to further wildlife conservation for the pleasure of generations to follow.
Volunteers play a large role in hatchery operations and significantly impact the facility’s success. Each person provides their unique expertise to assist in fish culture activities, improve or create wildlife habitat, provide recreation, or conduct environmental education.
Come to one of our monthly meetings and see if this the place for you. Or fill out our contact page and have one of our volunteers give you a call. We would love for you to join us!
Come meet the group.
FOIDH meets on the second Wednesday of every month at 9 AM in the Education building at the Hatchery.
